In 4th week of the language course. We have a trip in Canterbury to visit Canterbury Cathedral, a museum and a gallary, and then this art work leave a deep impression named ‘ Can’t Buy Me Love’.
From its appearance, we can see a heart stayed in a trolley and covered with glass. I think the artist of this want to tell us. Although in most people’s opinion money can buy everything, the artist still blieve that money is not omnipotent. For example, even if you have a huge number of money, you still would not buy people’s sincere heart. If we just pay attention to how to earn more money, you will lose in money and your life will lack of colour. May be you can have a high quaity life, but you also feel spiritual emptiness. In my opinion, money is very useful, but the best way to use it is making yourself happy and enhance your ability through spending money.
In conclusion, we can not keep the money as the most important part in our whole life. Don’t let money control our lives.
